Your day African safari day

Your African safari day will start with a wake-up call before sunrise.

After your first cup of coffee it will be time for your early morning game drive.

After that you return to your camp or your lodge for brunch and then you usually have the rest of the morning and early afternoon to relax.

Mid-afternoon it will be time to go on your afternoon game drive which will last until the sunset.

Now you will be preparing for the evening session of your African safari day.

If you had a good African safari day you will have spooted most of the African animals in our gallery.

Your knowledgeable guide hopefully guided you well  to explain what the animals do in their natural environment

At sunset on an African safari day your guide is likely to find a scenic wildlife viewing spot where you can enjoy a sundowner in the bush, before making your way back to your lodge/camp.

The predatory animals will prepare for a night of hunting activity and their likely prey will also become more active and alert as darkness falls.

By the time you are driving back to camp it will probably be dark in the African bush.

During this time of the drive your guides will probably be using a spotlight to identify some wildlife.

This is the best time to watch out for predators like lions, leopard and hyena on the hunt for prey.

Vehicles usually return just before dark in time for a shower, pre-dinner drinks and then dinner.

When you return to your camp, you will feel the need to get refreshed with a fabulous hot shower, followed by an ice-cold beverage of your choice at the campfire.

The evening dinner will most likely take the form of an Africa barbeque in a boma under a sky blazing with stars.

You will start to recognize clearly distinguishable wildlife sounds like the roaring of lion and some laughing hyenas.

The conversations around the campfire can become deafening as everybody tries to tell what they have seen during the day.

This is a good time to get to know your fellow travelers.

After dinner you can relax on the terrace with a drink or cup of fresh coffee, enjoying the sounds of the bush and the sight of millions of stars in the dark night sky

Your day on an African safari will filled with plenty activities, which will have you tired and heading for bed early to get well rested for yet another glorious day in Africa.
